We are delighted to welcome Jade Smitheram to Carr Berman Crichton. Jade offers the firm an opportunity to “internationalise” its service. She also extends its capability to serve our new and existing clients.
Jade has a wide range of experience in the law since she qualified with her LL.B Degree from the University of Strathclyde in 2018. Prior to obtaining her Law Degree, Jade became a qualified Interpreter. Jade received a Diploma in Public Service Interpreting from the Institute of Linguistics in 2015. That means Jade has, in addition, delivered services as an interpreter in the Scottish Courts.
Jade will look after clients of Carr Berman Crichton who are looking to buy or sell their homes. This also means she will be able to help Chinese speaking clients with their property needs, explaining the process to them and dealing with their purchases and sales.
When she’s not actively delivering legal services, Jade works in the Scottish Chinese Community Advisory Service. This is an organisation Jade founded in 2021.
Martin Berman, Director of Carr Berman Crichton, said “We are very pleased that Jade accepted our offer to join the firm. We are confident she has an excellent future with the firm helping new and existing clients with all their legal needs”.
We are sure you will join us in welcoming Jade Smitheram to the firm.
